Oasis in 2025…

That loathsome combination of sugar and sweetener. I guess it’s better than pure sweetener.

I’m not unreasonable, it tastes pretty good and the aftertaste is (relatively) good.

Sad to think Oasis are a front runner for the Drinkies. Hopefully just marks the turning point.

It’s impressive but not that nice.

They’ve managed to pull off the advertised “Sour Apple” it’s just a question of whether candy flavours are good for drinks.

There was another new drink from them (Pineapple/Pink Grapefruit) that made me long for the infamous Bundaberg.

I can hardly process. Heads will roll.

They’ve nailed it, tastes exactly like a lemon ashtray.

A bit sweet and foamy, but 250ml cans are a known red flag for the refreshometer.

All in all they’re just not doing it for me, but I appreciate the quality and depth of the flavours.

The vibe takes a hit a bit for the “edgy” tagline, it seems wackaging is still not dead.

Really nice flavour, maybe a tiny bit too sugary.

Looks great but essentially terrible. It’s not sugary or anything, but the flavour is lacking and occasionally gives hints of vomit.

Drinkable.

Somewhat of a relief as the Drinkies ‘24 merch is almost ready.

Japanese sweets in liquid form. Surprisingly acceptable though.

It’s been a while since I’ve had to engage my brain for a drink.

I doubt I’d ever have it again, but I commend the innovation. None of the usual sins have been committed it’s just lacking that yabba dabba doo.

I’m struggling to describe the flavour. Watermelon front and centre, but it’s the backing singers stealing the show.

Unfortunately the show was cancelled mid-season.

The flavour is lacking but still pleasant. I doubt I’d buy it again but it was both enjoyable and refreshing on a hot day.

Exceeded expectations, but they were low in light of the drink proudly claiming “0% Juice”.

It's a sweet lemon drink with a light but noticeable sourness.

Not sure why you would ever buy it (other than morbid curiosity), but it was actually just about drinkable.

A solid lemonade. Not the best I’ve had but a strong off the shelf offering.

The one concern I have is there doesn’t appear to be a list of ingredients, just a smattering of “exgredients”. It doesn’t actually state it’s water.

Rather refreshing. Almost half water.

I'd always avoided this on the assumption it was just another can of pop.

Not terrible. A nice lemon taste but also the subtle stench of sweetener.

This can was my first, and likely my last.

Humble pie. That's the pie going round the drink.report office.

Here we have a strong contender for DoTY, recommended from a most unlikely source.

Lightly carbonated, a clean refreshing gulp that both satiates and leaves you wanting more.

Finally, La Croix.

I've been considering the acquisition for years but it was a chance encounter with a chap called Dave that got me through checkout.

Immediate impressions weren't wholly positive, but the can in the picture is empty. Which is good as there's another 11 in the fridge.

It's sort of like a cream soda taste, but without the sugary-ness. There's nothing else to really compare it to.

I'm interested to see how my opinion develops over the coming weeks, just as I'm sure you all are.

This one is pretty good but yet again over a day of sugar in a bottle.

Unfortunately this is the first time I've looked at the ingredients. You're looking at 124% of your sugar DI.

Amazingly it doesn't taste too sugary. Perhaps the wonders of HFC.

The branding is a little off however, delivering a sour vibe.

This one will be brief. Not terrible, not good. Quite a lot of flavour but nothing particularly rousing. Refreshing at first, then a sugary aftertaste.

Mangajo have produced something of a contradiction here. On the one hand refreshment is undeniable. On the other hand I don't see myself thinking of this when the sun beats down.

Overall a pleasant flavour without aftertaste.

I'd recommend trying one, but it isn't getting a DRR.

This can be summed up in an ordered list: sugar, lemon, tea. That's not quite what the box says but I think my word is worth more.

One of the better iced teas to grace my tongue. Strong right through the inter-medial and sticks the landing.

Too many manufacturers try to dodge the sugar levy, leaving the consumers mouth paying the price with the nasty finish.

Nice and clean from the team in HK. They say "Irreplaceable Taste" and I felt no need to call our legal team.

A really exciting first taste. Fully delivers on the strong aroma.

However it just didn't really do it for me. Again it comes down to the aftertaste, the downfall of many a boisson.

I've been hearing I invariably state I won't be purchasing a drink again, and I'm afraid this time is no different. I will continue to stay true to myself and you, my loyal readers.

Less sweet than Ribena, similar flavour.

Nice and flavourful in the mouth as you drink, which is the hallmark of a good water based drink.

The flavour fades quickly, which often makes for a more refreshing drink. Unfortantely all the best aspects fade first.

I'd enjoy it again if offered one, but you won't see me trading my copper for this aluminium any time soon.

Absolute trash

A mandarin flavour dominates this beverage, with the usual grape juice backing it up.

I'm not usually one for orange flavoured drinks, as you know orange juice is not the most refreshing. Orange juice and ice is a different story but we don't deal with ice here at drink.report.

In terms of carbonated orange drinks, I think there's a tendency to go synthetic. Innocent have instead opted for mandarin juice. It's a distinctly different taste to orange, and I think it's much more watery.

All in all, the drink is pretty nice. I'd definitely pick one up on a hot day.

An unusual drink. Highly fragrant, yet not very flavourful.

I don't know if I can taste the ginger at all, but I don't really mind about that.

It's quite watery, but still 36% apple juice which really hurts the refreshometer.

As veterans of this blog will know, I don't consider apple juice to be refreshing at all.

I don't like it, but I'll still drink it.

More "ginger" lemon than lemon ginger. The ginger reminded me of chili flakes, flavourless and overpowering.

I love citrus tastes but for a lemon-something drink this was appalling.

By no means the best water out there, but thankfully they haven't tried to do

anything too special.

Largely water so it's fairly refreshing, and at first sip you might be fooled into thinking it's tasty. Give it a minute and you'll see your mouth tastes rank.

Got it free and yet I still want to complain.

Worse than Lipton and pretty much all other Arizona, too much of a synthetic aftertaste.
